Day 01 Arrive Yangon
Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by our tour guide. Transfer to hotel. Yangon sightseeing tour includes the old colonial style city center with the gilded Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years. Bogyoke (Scotts) Market with hundreds of stores and of a gems shops. The tour continue to Chaukhtatgyi, a huge reclining Buddha image, extended visit to Shwedagon Paogda, one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments and the golden dome of Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold., will conclude the tour of this picturesque garden city. Day 02 Yangon – Bagan by flight
After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly to Bagan. On arrival, transfer to hotel and proceed to the busy local market and continuing with visit to a diverse selection of the most important Paogdas and temples, such as Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century, Kubyanuk Gyi, a temple with exqauisite murals of Jataka scenes, Khay Min Ga Temple and Ananda Temple. Continue sightseeing to Manuha Temple, Nanbaya Temple, Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple. The Archaeological Museum with a collection of bronze, stone and lacquer Buddha images, stone inscription and hair styles in old days, may also be visited. You will also visit a lacquer-ware workshop and the long and arduous process of making bowls and trays that often take months to complete. Proceed to Bupaya Paogda or Mingalazedi Stupa to watch sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River. Overnight at the hotel in Bagan.
Day 03 Bagan – Mt. Popa – Bagan by car
After breakfast, depart for Mt. Popa (45 km, approx 1½ hour) an extinct volcano with its shrine dedicated to animist spirits, known as “Nats”. On the way observe local daily life activities such as toddy palm juice extracting, sweet ball (brown sugar) making process and hand drill edible oil production etc. For the energetic, it is time to climb the 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the plug. Drive back to Bagan and study the daily life of the people among the palm trees. Overnight at the hotel in Bagan.
Day 04 Bagan – Mandalay by flight
After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly to Mandalay. Arrive Mandalay, transfer to hotel and on the way visit to Mahagandayon Monastery; a famous Buddhist monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study, continue to 1.2 Km long 200 years old U Bein Bridge, built of huge teak logs salvaged from Ava Royal Palace. A four of traditional workshops includes crafts such as woodcarving, marble masonry, Kalaga tapestry and gold leaf making etc. After that, transfer to hotel for check in. Sightseeing tour in Mandalay including Mahamuni Pagoda, with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves, Shwe Inbin, one of the most outstanding monasteries in the country, Shwe Nana Daw Kyaung or Goden Palace Monastery, a superb example of a traditional wooden building, Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the World Biggest Book for its 729 stone slabs of Buddhist Scriptures. Day 05 Mandalay – Mingun by car & boat
After breakfast, drive to Mingun jetty and boat trip on the Ayeyarwaddy River to Mingun about 11km (1 hr:) upriver from Mandalay with visit to the Pathodawgyi Paya, built as one of the world’s largest chedis by King Bodaw Paya. Mingun Bell, weighing 90 tons and being the largest uncracked bell in the world, to Myatheindan Zedi. In the afternoon, excursion by road to the former Royal Capital of Innwa [Ava], take a small boat for a few minutes and visit Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery , ruins of ancient Ava Watch Tower, fort walls and brick causeway and Bargaya Teak wood Monastery. Then drive back to Mandalay. Overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.
Day 06 Mandalay – Heho by flight
After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly to Heho. Arrive Heho airport, drive to Kalaw, a fresh and delightful hill station, on the rim of the Shan Plateau, which is a market center for ethnic minorities from surrounding regions. Overnight at the hotel in Kalaw.
Day 07 Kalaw – Pindaya by car
After breakfast, the journey continues to a narrow, winding and bumpy road through the Shan Hills. ON a fresh and delightful hill station, on the rim of the Shan Plateau, which is a market center for ethnic minorities from surrounding regions. Visit Pindaya caves, unique for the thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries. Overnight at the hotel in Pindaya.
Day 08 Pindaya – Inle Lake by car & boat
After breakfast, proceed by road to Nyaung Shwe [95km]. Arrive and transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight at the hotel in Inle Lake.
Day 09 Inle Lake
After breakfast, board on a traditional long and tall motorized boat for a sightseeing tour of the lake. Travelling on the lake is an exhilarating experience for nature lovers and a chance to observe the unique traditions of the Intha people. Wonder unique leg rowing fishermen, floating firm; built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud which anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles, houses and monasteries on the stilt ect .. . Visit floating village of Ywama, the lake’s downtown, 11 century Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda housing five sacred Buddha Images, the weaving village of Inpawkhon, famous for traditional silk-weaving, Se Gaung Village, famous for the blacksmith work and Nan Pan Village with cheroot making and boat-building dockyares etc end your day with a visit famous Ngaphechaung, a museum like monastery where old belongings of many monasteries are restored. Overnight at the hotel in Inle Lake.
Day 10 Heho – Yangon by flight
After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly back to Yangon. Arrive Yangon, transfer to hotel and Yangon city sightseeing short visit to Botataung Pagoda, Nan Thida Jetty, Kandawgyi Garden and Karaweik Palace. Overnight at the hotel in Yangon.
Day 11 Departure
Time at leisure to purse individual interests until your transfer to the airport. Your guide will pick you up the hotel and accompany you to the airport. Departure from Yangon.
